Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SenseIt mobile application and related services (the “Service”) provided by SenseIt.ai (“SenseIt”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What SenseIt provides

SenseIt connects to a compatible Bluetooth OBD-II adapter, reads vehicle data during drives, syncs data to your account, and presents informational summaries and trends.

The Service is for informational purposes only. It does not diagnose, repair, or certify the safety or roadworthiness of any vehicle. Alerts, recommendations, and insights are general guidance based on available OBD data and may be incomplete or incorrect. Always consult a qualified mechanic before acting on any information from the app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Safe use while driving

Do not interact with the app in ways that distract you from driving. Set up your adapter and vehicle profile while parked. Comply with all traffic laws. You are solely responsible for safe operation of your vehicle.

5. Hardware and vehicle compatibility

The Service requires a compatible BLE OBD-II adapter and a vehicle with a supported OBD-II port. Not all vehicles expose all data points. We do not guarantee that every PID, code, or insight will be available for your car.

6. Accounts and data

You retain ownership of your trip and vehicle data. You grant us a licence to store, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may delete your account in the app under Settings → Delete account, or by following the steps in our Privacy Policy (account deletion). If in-app deletion fails, email support@senseit.ai from your registered email address.

7. Free and paid plans

SenseIt may offer a free plan with limited features and a paid “Pro” subscription with additional features. Plan details and limits are shown in the app and may change over time.

Google Play subscriptions: If you subscribe through Google Play, billing is handled by Google under Google Play’s terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date in your Google Play account settings. Refunds are subject to Google Play policies. We do not control Google’s billing decisions.

The Service, including software, design, and branding, is owned by SenseIt or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or content except as needed to use the Service.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that insights will be accurate or complete. OBD data quality depends on your vehicle, adapter, and environmental conditions.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SENSEIT AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SenseIt from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.

13. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) will survive termination.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
